Under the administrative supervision of the Head, Panama Financial Services (PFS) and under the direct technical supervision of the PRISM Central Support Team (PCST) Head in Manila Administrative Center (MAC), the successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for the general maintenance, optimization and various modifications of IOM’s master data including but not limited to PCST mailbox management and access control to ensure data quality and accurate reporting. Functions are performed following ACO’s delegation matrix for relevant tasks and the standard operating procedures being implemented by PCST in Manila Financial Services (MFS).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES :
1.Manage the ticketing system of the unit by addressing the issues and responding to users worldwide.
2.Perform review and maintenance of user access to IOM’s databases upon endorsement of authorized staff from offices and/or from Manila and Panama Financial Services units. Recommendations are provided to offices when required.
3.Responsible for master data maintenance in SAP of projects, costing sheets, General Ledger, business areas, air ticket vendor, customers and vendors following the established procedures. This includes creation and maintenance, review and test of configurations and coordination with Processes and Resources Integrated Systems Management (PRISM) teams to ensure quality of data inputted in the system.
4.Provide support to other units of PAC and MAC during payroll run and/or payment to staff of medical benefits and reimbursements.
5.Prepare reports related to master data and user access as per request. Identify issues and opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions.
6.Liaise with SAP PRISM Team, Head, PCST and PFS unit to work on all modification related and optimization of the PRISM Master Data.
7.Provide assistance to Head, PCST in testing enhancements of SAP processes prior to transport to production.
Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is required - Working knowledge of French is an advantage
Education:•Completed university degree in Accountancy, Finance or any related field from an accredited academic institution;•Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or its equivalent.
•Minimum four years of relevant experience in the field of accounting or finance or
information system;•Sound knowledge of accounting systems, principles and internal controls;
•Extensive knowledge in SAP financials is an advantage;•Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office applications;•Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is required , Working knowledge of French is an advantage.
