Accounts Receivable Analyst 

As a collections agent, you will be responsible for standard collection activities such as receipt and posting of cash receipts, Credit Notes and Refunds, Order release, reconciling outstanding account balances, processes bank disputes; negotiating with past due accounts on repayment terms/ non terms, cash applications and decisions on referring accounts to collection agencies and/or writing off accounts receivable on high value accounts; identify areas of opportunities within your account set and/or the collections process, driving compliance & change while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

 

Roles Responsibilities:

  • Responds to inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Manages top tier Accounts 
  • Scheduling meetings with Global Account Teams and provide updates on problems and solutions with each account.
  • Resolve complex problems & escalations and drive to resolution with business partners
  • Promote Sales Strategies 
  • Adheres to credit & collections policies while issuing credit notes/ refunds, compliance to Customer Privacy Policy, GAAP and internal controls.
  • Daily Cash Applications
  • Supports internal metrics, strategies, and goals through collections activities
  • Reviews status of accounts, and proactively initiate collections activities.
  • Point of contact and support for the collections team.
  • Develops strategies & projects to reduce collection issues and escalations
  • Document and communicate processes
  • Establish controls and maintain a strong sense of controllership
  • Drive Compliance to internal policies

 

Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience. May be still studying.
  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and communication (both written and oral) skills.
  • Good analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Customer first oriented.
  • Excellent customer service, resolution and organizational skills
  • Capable to work under pressure 


Preferences

  • Knowledge of USA culture & laws and/or general processes for the Country.
  • Prior Experience in collections
