Tourism and Investment Services Company is looking for an financial and accounting manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.
Responsible for financial analysis. Review and Analysis of monthly closing reports. Budget Review Current vs. Budget Variations Audit plan for administrative processes. Selective Audits Advice to owners and directors on business projections and Trends.
Financial Analysis: Preparing Annual Budget by products. Preparation of company Business Plan (5 years ahead). Reviewing and analyzing Monthly Closing. Presenting Monthly Variances ’Explanations (Budget vs Actual). Company Expenses Control.
Increase the accuracy of the financial information by working to ensure data has been correctly booked and take corrective actions, if required.
Internal Control: Developing Administrative Processes Procedures. Audit Administrative Processes. Establish and Comply with Annual Audit Schedule. Raising Comments during the Audit (major / minor). Follow-up the raised Comments until they are closed.
Assurance the Company are in complying with all Local Regulations.
Weekly Results Presentation to the President and to the President owners and directors on business accounting analysis: It will be Responsible for the accounting information to be recorded in the correct manner and will work together with the external auditors so that the information is reliable and allows financial decisions to be made in the correct manner.
It will audit and guarantee that the processes of purchases and payments to third parties are carried out according to the established procedures.
• Participate in month end closing activities
• Analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Reconciliation of subledger balances (AP, AR, Cash, Fixed Asset)
• Participate in ad hoc analytics, projects and initiatives
• Support budget and forecast processes
• Backup and support for other members of the accounting team
• Corporate reporting - multiple entities
BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 5 years' experience in General Accounting
Organizational ability in handling multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
advanced Excel skills
Excellent English communication skills; verbal and written
Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct and supervise.
knowledge of Peachtree, QuickBooks, accounting software is beneficial.
